Dr. Kim Van Naarden Braun is an epidemiologist and the Associate Director of Translational Epidemiology within Informatics and Predictive Sciences at Bristol Myers Squibb. Her work with Real World Data spans 25 years and multiple private and public health care sectors including federal and state government, large hospital systems, and the pharmaceutical industry. Her current focus at BMS is in the hematology and oncology space leading several programs leveraging RWD to create synthetic control arms for regulatory submissions. This work includes addressing related epidemiologic and methodologic challenges. Kim received her bachelor's degree from University of Pennsylvania, MPH and PhD in epidemiology from Columbia University.
