Alexandra Moutet joined UCB in January 2017 as Global Head of Patient Engagement, based in Brussels, providing global leadership in patient engagement all across the medicine lifecycle continuum. She was previously Director of Patient Engagement and Care for Western Europe and Canada at AbbVie. Previously she held roles within French consultancies leading strategic support in health reforms for different governments at the international level. She was also Counselor for Social Affairs at the French Embassy in Russia. Earlier in her career, Alexandra created and led a medical center in Kiev which was dedicated to the follow-up of people evacuated from areas contaminated by the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster.
